Apo Islands Rock Point East starts in the bay south of the main beach at Apo.
The depth at the reef top is about 5 m with great visibility.
Between coral blocks you can swim to the clear waters reef brink.
The rock point east reef continues relatively steep down to the max. depth of 35 m.
Diving a multilevel-profile you continue your way with the reef on your right shoulder slowly to shallower depths direction north.
Hundreds of red-tooth, trigger-fish and many other reef fish you can observe here. The whole slope is covered with soft corals and sponges. Either you turn back here to the entry point or you continue your dive into “Rock Point West“.
This dive can be made in shallow depths to fit the requirements for novice divers.
WHAT TO BE SEEN:
Beautiful hard and soft corals.
Many reef fish, trigger-fish and banner-fish. emperor fish, grouper and snapper live in this stunning coral world.
Sea snakes and nudibranchs can be found here. The quantity, quality and colors of the soft corals and sponges with hundreds of trigger-fish are very impressive.
Scorpion fish are also perfectly camouflaged in this dense coral world.
